Privacy Policy - Strangers TV
1. Introduction
Last updated: March 9, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes our policies and procedures on the collection, use, and disclosure of your information when you use the Strangers TV app (the "Service"). It informs you about your privacy rights and how the law protects you.
We collect and use your data solely to provide and improve the Service. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
2. Interpretation
The terms with an initial capital letter have specific meanings under the following conditions. The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in the singular or plural form.
3. Camera and Microphone Usage
Strangers TV is an anonymous real-time chat and video call app. To enable video and audio features, the app requests access to your device's camera and microphone.
These permissions are used exclusively to transmit your video and audio streams directly to other users via peer-to-peer WebRTC technology. We do not record, store, or share your camera or microphone data on our servers. All media streams are temporary and exist only during an active call session.
You may deny these permissions at any time through your device settings. Denying camera permission will disable video calls; denying microphone permission will disable audio during calls.
4. Data We Collect
Strangers TV is designed with anonymity in mind. We do not require you to create an account, provide a name, or submit any personally identifiable information.
The only data transmitted through our servers is:
- Chat messages: Text messages sent during a session are relayed in real time and are not stored after the session ends.
- WebRTC signaling data: Technical connection metadata (such as ICE candidates and session descriptions) used to establish video/audio calls. This data is ephemeral and never persisted.
- Network connection data: Standard internet connection information (such as IP address) required to route your connection through our servers. This is not linked to any personal identity.
5. User Responsibilities
The user agrees to use the Strangers TV app in an ethical and lawful manner, respecting applicable laws and the rights of third parties. Users must not use the app to share illegal, harmful, or offensive content.
6. Third-Party Services
The app may display advertisements served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data for ad personalization purposes, subject to Google's own privacy policy. You may opt out of personalized advertising through your device's ad settings.
7. Changes to the Policy
We reserve the right to modify this policy at any time. We recommend periodic review of this Privacy Policy to stay informed about any changes.
8. Child Safety Standards (CSAE)
Strangers TV maintains a zero-tolerance policy for any content or behavior involving child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE/CSAM). Users are strictly prohibited from creating, sharing, requesting, promoting, or distributing any sexualized content involving minors.
If we become aware of such content or behavior, we may immediately take action, including content removal, account restrictions or permanent bans, and reporting to appropriate authorities where required by law.
